Areni is a small footwear house. Few things, made well, in small runs. The first model is Masis, a slip-on in a single suede, offered in fifty pairs.

Everything is made in Italy from chrome-free, vegetable-tanned leather, on lasts developed by the house.

Areni is a village in Armenia. The oldest known leather shoe was found in a cave above it, cut from a single piece and shaped to one foot.

For years I couldn't find shoes that looked good and didn't leave my feet strained by the end of the day. So I decided to make my own, the pair I'd love to wear.
